At FreshBowl, we're committed to delivering your dog's meals reliably and efficiently. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery processes, timeframes, and other important shipping information.

1. Delivery Areas

FreshBowl currently delivers exclusively within the Kansas City metropolitan area, including Independence, MO. We do not offer nationwide or international shipping at this time.

2. Delivery Timeframes

We offer several shipping options to meet your needs:

Standard Delivery

Orders typically arrive within 2-5 business days from order confirmation.

Subscription Deliveries

Scheduled deliveries based on your preferred frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).

Delivery Exceptions

Deliveries may be delayed due to holidays, severe weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. We'll notify you promptly of any delays affecting your order.

Orders are typically processed within 1 business day.

Order Cutoff Times

Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST Monday through Friday will begin processing the same day. Orders placed after cutoff or on weekends will begin processing the next business day.

Order Confirmation

You'll receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and another notification when your order ships with tracking information.

We provide multiple ways to keep track of your FreshBowl delivery:

Automatic email notifications at key milestones: order confirmation, shipping confirmation with tracking number, and delivery confirmation.

Log in to your FreshBowl account to view real-time order status and complete order history.

6. Packaging & Freshness

We take special care to ensure your dog's food arrives fresh and ready to serve:

Insulated Packaging

All perishable items are shipped in insulated containers with eco-friendly ice packs to maintain appropriate temperatures during transit.

Freshness Guarantee

Our packaging maintains freshness for up to 48 hours after delivery, even if you're not home to receive your package immediately.

Receipt Instructions

For optimal freshness, refrigerate perishable items within 8 hours of delivery.

7. Subscription Deliveries

Our subscription service offers additional flexibility and benefits:

Delivery Schedule

Choose from weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly deliveries based on your dog's needs and your storage capacity.

Schedule Changes

Easily pause, skip, or reschedule deliveries through your account dashboard up to 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date.

Subscription Modifications

Update your delivery frequency, preferred delivery day, or shipping address at any time through your account settings.

Vacation Mode

Temporarily pause all deliveries during vacations or extended absences without cancelling your subscription.

8. Delivery Issues

In the event of delivery problems:

If you experience any delivery issues:

  • Missing or incomplete orders: Contact us within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date
  • Damaged packaging: Take photos of the damaged packaging before opening and contact us immediately
  • Spoiled or compromised product: If temperature control appears to have failed, do not feed the product to your pet
  • Incorrect items: Report any discrepancies between your order and items received within 7 days

We'll work quickly to resolve any delivery issues and, when necessary, send replacement products at no additional cost.

9. Returns & Refunds

Our return and refund policy for shipping-related issues:

Delivery Failures

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or refused delivery, you may be responsible for return shipping costs. We'll contact you to arrange redelivery.

Damaged in Transit

Products damaged during shipping will be replaced at no additional cost. Please provide photos of the damaged packaging and products to expedite your claim.

Missing Packages

If your tracking information shows delivery was completed but you haven't received your package, contact us within 48 hours. We'll work with the carrier to locate your package or process a replacement order.
